Leonato proved his worth in Much Ado About Nothing. Whenever someone did something with hate. Leonato did all in his power to act with kindness and love towards him or her. During the play he thinks why Beatrice did not show kindness to Benedick. Later on, he finds out that they thought about the opposite gender with the same doubts. Although the play never mentioned it, Leonato could have done something to change their minds on the opposite gender. Leonato found many ways to make a person better, but never took any credit for it, like Christ who humbled himself.

He helped others get along in their life, despite their disputes. He found a way to make enemies love each other, and he helped bring couples together. During the play he did everything in his power to show kindness and love to others, and taught them to act with God’s will. Planning a way to stop quarrels became a strong suit for him during this play as well. He took his time planning and did not rush to blame someone. Leonato showed the most Christ like manner of all the characters in the play, and taught them how to act that way
