Leonardo da Vinci was an Italian Renaissance from 1452 to 1519, who had a wide range of knowledge over many fields of art, including painting. Many of Leonardo da Vinci’s paintings, to this day are widely known across the globe and are viewed as some of the most historic paintings. Da Vinci was an intellectual artist during the Italian Renaissance, whose works of art have gained him his reputation. Through his life da Vinci created multiple works of art and of those these are some of the most notable ones; The Last Supper, Mona Lisa, Virgin of the Rocks, and Lady with an Ermine.
