Leonardo Da Vinci
Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452 in Vinci, Italy during the Renaissance period. His parents had him out-of-wedlock. He was raised primarily by his father and his stepmother. Though he obtained no formal education, he would eventually go on to apprentice under the famous painter Verrocchio. During the six years Leonardo would spend with Verrocchio, he would obtain some new skills such as metal work, carpentry, leather work, drawing and sculpting. In 1472, at the tender age of 20, he would receive a membership into the painter’s guild in Florence. Ten years after that, he would be commissioned to paint the Adoration of Magi. The Adoration of Magi would be the one of many works of art, Leonardo would never complete. He would

He was thinking of it more in terms of for uses for the theater. The cart would have steering and braking using coiled springs. When the breaks released, the cart would move forward. The cart could be programmable. In 2006, Leonardo’s design was actually brought to life and proven to work. The cart would be considered by many one of the first robotic inventions.
Leonardo had the clever idea for a robotic knight. The robotic knight was capable of many things such as sitting, standing, moving its head and lifting its visor. “The Robotic Knight consisted of a knight suit filled with gears and wheels that were connected to an elaborate pulley and cable system.”(Robotic Inventions) The robotic knight was created for a pageant that was Leonard was overseeing for the Duke of Milan.
The revolving bridge was designed to be able to pass over a body of water quickly mostly for armies in time of war. It is similar in design to what is known today as the machine gun. It has thirty-three small-caliber guns connected together. Each would have a row of 11 in a set of three rows. It would be similar in the idea of a cannon or more like a rotating cannon with wheels attached to each side of the machine.
The Armored Car was another really great idea of Leonardo’s. Leonardo’s armored car is often considered predecessor to the tank. Eight men would reside inside of the vehicle manning it. Much like the tank the tires would move at three hundred and sixty degree angle. There was only one silly little flaw in Leonardo’s design the cranks that the eight men would be using would go in entirely two different directions. Suggesting that perhaps Leonardo who was always ever so detailed oriented might have never of wanted the invention to have existed.
Scuba Gear was another fantastic idea of Leonardo’s, but his idea behind was more or less for war. He wanted it to be used for enemies to be able to sneak attacks on enemy ships. The mask that the person would wear would be like that of a bag that would have a two nose area attachments that would be attached to a diving bell above. The mask would also have a balloon attached to it that could inflate or deflate. Allowing the diver to easily reach surface or to sink into the
