How Did Leonardo Da Vinci Influence Society

Leonardo da Vinci, a painter, inventor, and scientist. This ideal Renaissance man played a key role in the Italian Renaissance. He made, with his inventions of warfare, to his paintings of the Italian culture. People still wonder how his brilliant mind shaped today society. Leonardo da Vinci was born in the small town of Vinci, in 1452. He was born to a lawyer and a servant, Even though his father had many wives, Leonardo was still the only child. By the time he was fourteen, Leo became an apprentice for Andrea del Verrocchio; a famous artist in Italy. This is where young Leonardo learned the art of painting. He had soon got to the point where he painted one of the angels in Verrocchio’s religious commissions. By 1472, he completed his training with Verrocchio and went to look for work in Florence. (Plumb 223-225) Leonardo worked in Florence for about 8 to 9 years. During these years, he was far good at other things besides painting. He studied the human anatomy, mathematics, mechanics, and the wonders of nature. The first year of his time in Italy, Leonardo had a bit of a problem.
