Leonard Klienrock
Leonard Klienrock was born on June 13, 1934 in New York City, NY. He lived in Harlem for a little while and moved to the Bronx. Leonard was always taking things apart and putting them back together when he was young. He was rather short and didn’t play many sports. He was very smart when he was little.
He graduated from the Bronx High School of Science in 1951. He received his Bachelor of electrical engineering. He attended the University of California at Los Angeles. He worked there as a professor of Computer science. In 1959 he earned his master degree. The first node of the ARPANET It took place at 22:30 hours on October 29, 1969.
