Leon Kary has blue collar views and thoughts on leadership. He was raised in the Catholic Church and several of those values permeated throughout his life. Leon believes that that a leader must own mistakes, protect and deflect for your people, and able to collaborate. He also believes that a leader must have the “intestinal fortitude” or grit to be able to continue to pursue goals and not quit when it gets hard. Leon also believes that a leader must be genuine and care about people. His biggest advice to aspiring leaders is that there are peaks and valleys, but you don’t quit, continue to persevere.
