Due to the fact, that the increase of radicle length within lentil bean seeds was affected by the environmental aqueous solutions, which was made up of either a table sugar, dextrose or a control. It presented that there was not a statistical difference between the table sugar or dextrose aqueous solutions in comparison to the radicle lengths since the P values were less than 0.05. Although, there was a statistical increase in radicle length with the comparison to the control. If these seeds were able to reach the average seed germination process in ten days, the radicle lengths would have increased within the two different sugars. While conducting the experiment we used nine clear small circular containers. Each circular container was filled with four non-germinated lentil bean seeds. Next, we added 1 mL of table sugar aqueous solution to three of the nine containers, three to the dextrose aqueous solution, and three to the control aqueous solution. After, adding the solutions to the nine containers, they were then placed in a shaded area. The total conduction of the experiment lasted six days. The hypothesis we presented was that the radicle length for the seeds, which were germinating in the dextrose aqueous solution would have an increase in radicle length because …show more content…
This outcome did not carry statistical significance because the table sugar solution was unfavorable for the lentil seed germination environment (Saglam 2010). Since table sugar has different particles and minerals than dextrose, it is possible that the seeds were overwhelmed, causing them to answer negatively to the ratio levels of sugar in the solution. This reaction could have been, because sugar dissolved easier than the dextrose in the beginning of the making of the solutions, and therefore, made this a stronger and more harmful solution than the control or the dextrose
