Lennar does not have a competitive advantage. As you see by the chart , Lennar focuses on being an differentiation leader than a cost leader. Lennar is a differentiation because of how they are innovative in constructing their homes; they are creative in designing homes that meets the need of their customer (Commission, 2014). Their latest innovation is the NextGen homes which are homes within a home. Lennar is the first home builders to construct a mult-generation household (Commission, 2014). Lennar has a flexible Operating Structure which allows decisions based on local homebuilding conditions and customer preferences (Commission, 2014).
