MSTT met with Lemuel and Leslie for a session to discuss Lemuel dropping out of school. Leslie expressed she signed Lemuel out of school because he had already failed the 9th grade three times and was in jeoperdy of failing the 9th grade again. She also explain she could not afford to pay for truancy for Lemuel because he had 17 unlawful absents for this years so far. She stated Lemuel have not been trying during school at all this year and she should not have to suffer because he is not getting up and attending school. MSTT ask Lemuel his views on the situation and Lemuel stated he felt it was the best decision for him because he was going to be 18 this year and he did not want to be 18 in the 9th grade again.
