Lemoore High School: Conscientious Students

Decent Essays
Transcripts During my time at Lemoore High School I have maintained a B+ Average, I have been labeled as a “Conscientious Student”. I was challenged by language classes such as, English and Spanish. Freshman year I received my first B’s in both subjects. I then was able to figure out how to better myself in classes and to maintain good grades, but the second semester of junior year I received a D in English 3AP. I am now taking English 3P to make up for this deficiency on my transcripts. However, I have always been able to maintain at least a 3.27 GPA and participate in sports and clubs on campus. I have learned how to stay focused and on task, which will be a huge help as I move on to college.

It has come to my knowledge that there is a limited amount of spots in the ENG 102 class for next semester. I am one of the best candidates to continue into ENG 102 and thrive in Ms. Laduca’s learning environment. Although I do not fear that I have not already earned my spot, I will proceed to justify my case. I have been an adroit student of Ms. LaDuca’s for the last year and a half; she knows exactly what kind of student I am. Since seventh grade, I have been an ebullient honors student in the top ten percent of the 2016 cohort and have not received any grades lower than an A. I always exceed expectations, put in 110% of my effort, and achieve and maintain excellent grades at the same time.…

honors classes to them just because they assume they will not be capable to handle them. There is not a motivation to encourage them to take highly demanding courses, and since they are new in the system, they are unable to complain for something different. In addition, even if they complain, they are excluded from the option of taking a harder class because of the English level they can handle. The argument is unfair for those who excel in mathematical and scientific ability but lack of English proficiency.…

And after that, finally, I came back last Spring 2015. As a result, when I decided to come back to school, The Committee of Graduate School told me that I should improve my cumulative GPA over 3.0, if then, they will allow me to keep going to school from Spring 2016. It means that if I would not improve my cumulative GPA, I would be denied from school right after this Autumn 2015 semester. I know it is a penalty, but it is pretty hard.…

Earlier today I received a letter in the mail from UNC Wilmington. My parents assembled around me as I opened the letter, from the University that I have habitually desired to attend, only to observe my smile decline as I informed them that my decision had been deferred. Along with the decision letter there was a “Frequently Asked Questions” article stating how I could insure UNC Wilmington that they are my first choice. The paper states, “If UNCW is your first choice, you may send us a letter, or email expressing your interest. We will add this to your file.”…

My central goal during my LSAT studying was to maintain a positive attitude, for the reason that my previous experiences with standardized tests would slide into my train of thought. I always had a history of underperformance on standardized tests. Despite these scores, I have consistently outperformed in school and in my career. I transferred from Moraine Valley Community College with a 3.9 GPA, with honors, awards, and scholarships. When I transferred to Loyola University Chicago, I enhanced, furthermore, honed my writing, critical reading and analytical skills by taking upper-level Humanities courses, such as English, literature, history, and philosophy.…

I am a student who is proactive, organized, and seeks help when needed. During the four years of my high school career I worked really hard to develop these skills.
