In this article, Author Meghan Barylak shares her journey to find leisure, as well as her relationship with leisure. Barylak states that when she was a child, she was quite "good" at leisure and relaxing. Once she entered her teenage years and early adulthood she essentially cut ties with leisure. This meaning she did not have time for leisure and recreational activities, and when she did she would feel too guilty to partake in leisure. She goes into depth to explain inequalities those face with not having kids. For example, She goes to say that men are treated differently if they decide on not having kids, society labels men as bachelors and women as selfish for not having kids. FIlipovic also explains the harsh consequences for children who are the product of a forced parenthood. She concludes her article by explaining that normalizing a lifestyle with no kids would be ideal for everyone, including parents and even children. This article lacks scholarly citations such as the first article did. However, this article did make many good points. One that stands out in particular is that choosing not to bear a child is beneficial to the parents as well as the children. Many only feel as if not having kids is only beneficial to parents, but no child wants to be the aftermath of a forced parenthood. This article has many good points, and with appropriate citations to back this information up, this article would be considered
