Films are an art, and art has meanings and messages hidden within. A film is viewed as a form of art because it uses different expressions to form one masterpiece. These meanings and messages have impacts on the viewer’s lives, even if they know it or not. If art did not have a message that would impact another human being’s life with what they are going through, why create it? As humans, we learn about life and the world around us from other people. Art is in everything around us including films. A film that has had an impact on my life is Legally Blonde. Legally Blonde has impacted my life by shaping me into the woman I am now, showing me to stay strong, and have a positive outlook on life when things are not the way you want them to go. Elle Wood, the main character had her share amount of rough times through out the film. She was able to stay strong and have a positive outlook, which lead her to accomplishing her goals, even with these rough obstacles in her way. Only being away for two weeks, knowing I am not home to help my father and younger brother and sister. The only thing I can do is stay strong and just have a positive outlook on the situation, and just believe that one day our lives will be back to normal. Since being away my mother has started treatments, and the worst has yet to come for her. As a family all we can do is stay positive through all the tears and sadness. In my lifetime, I have watched many films with many stories and lessons, but Legally Blonde has impacted my life the most.
