Should prostitution be legalized? Some people might ignore this topic, or consider it unimportant. It does not affect them so they pretend that it does not happen. But in all honesty prostitution is a big part of our society. Prostitution should stay illegal because legalizing it would increase sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and cases of sexual abuse and rape and promote repression of women by men. Anyone who does not want a real job can just sell their bodies for money.
