Prostitution in the United states is illegal in all fifty states except some parts of Nevada. This is an issue that has surrounding the country for years now. Prostitution is considered the world's oldest “profession.” Prostitution can have many benefits to the countries and the economy of the countries it is legal in. (source #1)
In countries across the world where prostitution is legal they are required to have health exams. They believe this helps our employees stay safe and clean. Having sexual exams could help the transmission of HIV decrease 33-46 percent. Getting a health exam every month allows the prostitute to make money instead of catching a disease. Studies show that prostitutes experience harassment and scary situations where they are forced to not use protection. This comes from customers fear of using protection because it can used against them if they were to be caught. Source #2)

They also have the right to use their body how they wish. Nobody has the right to tell you what to do with your body. No matter if it goes against someone's morals or wishes. Everyone has a choice in life and if your choice is for pleasure or money then so be it.Be yourself and be the person you want to be. Sex trade is here to stay and will never leave. After all don't we all use our bodies to make money? No matter what its for. (Source #2)This in no way harms people the way things like drugs and alcohol do.
