Legalizing Marijuana Argumentative Analysis

As many people know, the legalization of marijuana is in the beginning stages of being voted on by the American people in 2016. There are many people who have strong feelings about this matter, and it’s important that it’s not ignored. Marijuana is already being given out to medical patients who need it, with that it becoming socially acceptable in our society. With this medical marijuana thing its landing into the wrong hands, which most importantly includes our youth because it’s becoming easier to get. When people are on drugs it makes their mind do wacky things they wouldn’t otherwise do. The more crime there is due to drug use, will land more people in trouble and jail. With this new marijuana thing being voted on people should know that it will increase in more driving under the influence which can cause deaths to innocent people. “Without question, drug use and drug addiction are closely related to crime.” When and if Marijuana does become legal, we will have a lot of new users who get crazy off of it and do violent things.
