In L.A. there was a drug scandal where federal agents and police entered the fashion district, they found just under 65 million dollars cash from illegal drug smuggling (Legalization of Drugs?). If the US had legalized marijuana they could have saved money fighting to prevent drug smuggling (Legalization of Drugs?). They also could have taxed all of those drugs and if it were going off of Nebraska’s tax rate then they would have made just under five million dollars.
