The primary reason for there not being many studies on the effect of cannabis is because it is illegal and that brings up different ethical reasons for a study. The more studies that are done on cannabis, this will help people decide if they want cannabis to become legal or stay illegal in New Mexico. The most common age range that is seen using cannabis is around the mid to late adolescences to young adulthood. The hard quantifiable thing to calculate is how much the individual is under the influence of cannabis. This is not as easy as having someone intoxicated and having them blow into a breathalyzer and get a result of how intoxicated they are in minutes.
