Introduction It is among one of the many things that all human beings have the ability to relate to; the fact that life is difficult. As one ages, the complications and hardships begin to accumulate in one’s life. Many personal milestones and seemingly impossible tasks are accomplished with the possibility of added stress to make the process almost unbearable. It is during these tough and pressing times in one’s life that they may turn to a multitude of distractions to cope with the stress of simply being alive. These distractions could include going to see a film with friends or playing videogames. There are some distractions however, that are not as innocent as just being in the company of loved ones. This drug can be ingested in a few ways, the most common methods are smoking it or consuming it in the form of a baked good. Marijuana legalization is a great topic for discussion because it involves a substance that could potentially help people, but it could also hurt people more if it becomes legalized. The government would not want to be a part of another substance that leads to many negative outcomes, the first substance that is also not so healthy is alcohol. The biggest cause for marijuana legalization to be debated is simply because there is still a great amount of research that needs to be performed to properly weigh the pros and cons of its usefulness. There is a lot of speculation surrounding marijuana and whether the positives outweigh the negatives, but this may be a matter of waiting and analyzing those states that have already legalized the substance. In the meantime however, marijuana should not be legalized simply because it is directly in the public’s eye. There are too many problems that need to be solved and tests that need to be performed before something can just be pushed onto the market.
