Is it reasonable that the legal enlisting age is only eighteen, yet the legal drinking age is twenty-one? In all fifty states of America a person is considered a legal adult at the of eighteen. Adults who are under the legal drinking age are more likely to consume more alcohol than those who are legally allowed to drink. While increasing the legal drinking age has decreased the amount of young drivers involved accidents, it has also increased the number of underage drinking in today’s young adults. The legal drinking age should should be decreased.
