The legal drinking age should not be lowered from 21 to 18 years old. For example, in 2015, around nearly 10,000 people died from crashes involving a driver under the influence of alcohol which accounts for nearly ⅓ of all transportation related deaths in the U.S. According to the statistics I have given, less drunk driving should occur if the drinking limit was raised, which is why we shouldn't raise the drinking limit.
