What makes life matter is a very debatable subject. Which is more important legacy, god, or wisdom/virtue? Personally, legacy is most important in my life. I believe leaving positive impacts behind for my family and others to be inspired by would make my life complete. My view on legacy is similar to the movie The Pursuit of Happyness. This movie portrays a story of a poor father, his son and the father’s struggle for success as a stockbroker. His one ultimate goal was to be remembered by his son for doing something great. “I met my father for the first time when I was 28 years old. And I made up my mind as a young kid that when I had children my children were gonna know who their father was” (“The Pursuit of Happiness”). Legacy is depicted through the movie The Pursuit of Happyness from the struggle the family endured, the striving for success, and the moment where the father make his mark on the world.

To begin, legacy is shown through the struggle of the father (Chris) and his son (Chris Jr.). When they were poor and struggling to strive the father made the first step by applying to a vigorous internship program in order for him and his son’s future to be secured. All odds were against him and still Chris had the strength inside of him to make a better life for his son. Its that strength to have a better life that makes a legacy come true, you have to want it more than you want to breathe. Chris wanted to show his son and himself that he could accomplish something…
