He had this interview with Gary Collins. Collins says that he was not crazy mainly because he did not exhibit the behavior of someone who is mentally disturbed. Strobel then talks about the profile evidence. He summarizes a conversation with the theologian Donald Carson about if Jesus “fit” into the Old Testament’s profile of God as someone who is omniscient, omnipotent, eternal, immutable, loving, holy, righteous, and just. He talks about these things specifically on page 209. Strobel provided a positive argument for believing that Jesus possessed various divine attributes. Strobel questioned William Lane Craig about what he thought about the resurrection and if he has heard what the atheists say about it. Strobel then talks about the evidence of appearances and the circumstantial evidence. He splits it up into two different chapters but they are very similar. He talks with both Gary Habermas and J.P. Moreland. Strobel asks Gary if he thinks Jesus was seen alive on the cross after his death or if he was just dead. Gary didn’t have a straight answer. He hadn’t even heard that question before it seemed like. This book is full of opinions as Lee Strobel just asks very educated professors and doctors about certain things that come to his mind. The things he asks about are things he thought the most about when he himself was an atheist. The people he used were very educated so therefore they were reliable and are worth listening to. It’s still opinion mostly but it’s very smart people talking and they have plenty of evidence to back up what they are saying. He cites his sources very well taking up about six pages of just sources from all the people he talked to and all the sources he used. How he did it was very effective as it is very easy to go through and read through in case I wanted to look up more information about the person or the website he used to write this
