Forced but Getting Something from It
Driving a car, everyone has to do it or need to do it. That’s what I have to explain with this assignment as a student enrolled in English 1301. It’s a requirement to do assignments, but it’s the student’s responsibility to learn from the assignment given. I would like to discuss thoughts about Lee College and the realization of English 1301’s exercise on writing this paper. This assignment targets the engagement of Lee College, the consistent persistence of a student, the curiosity the student might have, and the responsibility an individual has after reflecting on the past three paragraphs.
Engagement
Lee College is a different beast when talking about Colleges. This college focus on trades with degrees and certifications to attack the industry jobs head on. The pro that stands out about Lee College are the one on one with most professors. The engagement from student to professor is great and makes the student not feel like a number. Either lean to frustration or determination. The trade welding; the welder must try to stay persisted to learn the craft. Then learn each instrument / welding processes to land a successful job (which has the most income hourly), which is Tungsten Arc Welding known as TIG. I’m taking the Introduction to TIG at Lee College to expand my career opportunities. Being focused towards the TIG class, it has its times of frustration with not getting the skill off the back. Even with my skill sets such as the military or other welding process I have learned with prior jobs and schooling. The intentness of not getting mad from time to time, with not having perfection.
