Many theories seem to surround the case of Hae Lee and Adnan Syed. The question that everyone is asking themselves is, who did it, was it Adnan, was it Jay, or was it a hitman that Jay knew hired by Adnan? What makes it more difficult are the changing stories, witnesses foggy memory and inconsistencies on what happened that day. Also the evidence that was gathered and presented can make one think Jay and Adnan definitely had something to do with her death however neither murdered Hae. After paying close attention to all the information that has been shared in the previous episodes; one can conclude that this theory makes sense. The reason it is believable Adnan hired a hitman was because he did not want to get his hands dirty. But something happened and that is why Jay had to incriminate Adnan, many clues can prove Adnan and Jay did not kill Hae. For example the cell towers and timing, how they are off with the time that Hae died. Also who better than Jay to help Adnan find someone, after all he …show more content…
I think they got a call from the killer around 6, talked to the cops at 6:24, then met the killer around 7 to bury Hae's body in Leakin Park and ditch her car”. Therefore, let us go ahead and start with a few clues that were given in episode nine. Episode nine introduces summer, she went to the same school and had a class with Hae. Both girls were the wrestling team managers and Summer mentions that she spoke with Hae after school on the day she went missing, and that it was around 2:30-2:45pm. According to the Detective Hae was murdered around 2:36pm Adnan was at the library between 2:15 through 3:30pm and track practice from 3:30 to 5:00pm. As far as Jay, he was at Jenn's house hanging out waiting for her to get home from work. Even in the second interview when his confession changes Jay states that he was at Jean's that is why it is possible Adnan or Jay are not the murderers. (Angelowicz,

The Emancipation Proclamation legally freed the slaves in states that were not under Union control as a reaction to the Dred Scott case. Lincoln’s motive behind the issuance of the Proclamation remains one of the most debated topic of the president. In the famous Lincoln-Douglass Debate in Charleston (National Historic SiteIllinois), Lincoln claimed that he “as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race” when asked to talk about his opinion about the equality between the black people and the white people. This led to the theory that Lincoln was a white-suprematist in nature, but still signed the Proclamation in order to win the war.…

His heroic testimony against his good friend is the main reason the state was able to correctly convict Adnan. In his sworn statement, Jay affirms Adnan killed Hae and that he saw her dead body. He tells investigators, “all [he could] see [was that] Hae’s lips [were] all blue, and she [was] pretzeled up in the back of the trunk. And she [was] dead.” This descriptive account of Jay’s first interaction with the deceased corps is very clear evidence that he was a witness to this disgusting act.…

Justice Brennan wrote the dissenting opinion to argue that the principal did in fact violate the students’ first amendment (Linder para 27). He claims that there was no clear warning that the principal would remove two whole pages of the paper, and that he had no jurisdiction to do so (Linder para 27). There was never a chance for the students to bring their case upon the principal or ask for a delay of the paper to correct their mistakes. The content of the paper was considered more “sensitive” than as a serious distraction towards the students from their studies (Linder para 28). It is hard to argue a case that the school will erupt into chaos because a child speaks out about the hardships of divorced parents.…

Ivar Lovaas was one of the most prominent early practitioners of ABA. He used many different methods and claimed that if he had gotten a hold of Hitler when Hitler was young, he could have changed Hitler to be kind. Some of Lovaa’s more controversial methods in terms of today was his use of electric shock and other kinds of physical punishment to keep a behavior from being repeated. People back in Lovaas’ times thought that Autistic individuals and other people with varying problems could not be helped.…

I firmly believe that Adnan Syed is innocent for the following reasons. The first reason Adnan Syed must be innocent is because he did not have a motive to kill Hae. Concurrence Despite agreeing with Justice White’s opinion, Justice Powell, joined by Justice O’Connor, and Justice Blackmun wrote concurring opinions. Justice Powell believed that Justice White should have spent more time discussing the fact that students should not have the same constitutional protections as individuals in non-school settings. Justice Powell noted that, “It is simply unrealistic to think that students have the same subjective expectation of privacy as the population generally.” Because of the special environment in which school officials must constantly protect students from threats to students and teachers, Justice Powell felt that it was “unreasonable and at odds with history” to afford students the same constitutional protections as other individuals outside of schools.…

Summary While the pioneering first-generation of women psychologists has been well documented and ingrained in the history of psychology, the gap left afterward, failed to recognize the second-generation of women psychologists. Synthesizing literature from a variety of published resources including obituaries and autobiographies, Johnston and Johnson chronicled their search to identify the “lost generation”. The main focus of this article was to not only search and acknowledge the second-generation, but also to address the challenges this transitional group of women faced in comparison to those who had presumably opened the doors for them.…
