In a promotional interview posted on “The Wade-O Radio” YouTube channel for his upcoming album “All Things Work Together,” Lecrae revealed that he recently struggled with depression. This experience almost pushed him away from his Christian faith and prompted him to consider taking his own life, The Christian Post details.

It was only want he travelled to Egypt and saw a 3,000-year-old civilization that was able to survive all the storms that passed by that he realized “it’s bigger than me.”
In another interview on “Sway in the Morning,” Lecrae delved more into the time when he had contemplated suicide. He also shared his realization that he did not want to put his family through the experience of finding his dead body on the floor.
“I was in a really dark place, my faith was messed up,” Lecrae shared. “ ... At the end of the day I had to realize these are frail, fallen people, not God Himself that's doing all this crazy stuff.”
Meanwhile, WJBD Radio announces that the first 500 people who will order Lecrae’s new album will be given a 12x12 lithograph of the album cover autographed by the award-winning hip-hop artist.
