While in 2006 LeBron helped the Cavaliers to the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Detroit Pistons it still wasn’t enough for the win. But, LeBron was still a leader in the NBA by receiving the Most Valuable Player in the 2006 All-Star Game. In the next season LeBron was able to lead the Cavaliers to in finally defeating the Pistons for the Eastern Conference trophy. These students begin their school year with a fun two-week technology camp, then throughout the school year the students receive support, incentives, and much encouragement to help achieve their journey to graduation. The next program is the I Promise Network for middle school kids in Akron Public Schools in Ohio. This a program that is one step up from the Wheels for Education and is specifically to cope with the needs for middle school students and prepare them for high school. Next is The LeBron Advisory Board from Akron Public Schools. This board is LeBron’s way of bringing families together to have the best Wheels for Education program possible. There are three labs, the lab elementary board is in charge of the Wheels for Education program. The second lab focuses on the Akron I Promise Network, and the community lab is in charge of the overall direction of each program and how well they work in the Akron community.
