LeBron James is a generous person, he has made a lot of money by playing basketball but he doesn’t use that money only for his own benefit. James came from a poor family, when he was born, his mother was just 16 years old. She was so young and had to work so many jobs to raise LeBron James and his brothers. James never forgets that, after he becomes an NBA superstar and one of the richest athletes in the world, he decided to go back to his hometown and help children who come from poor backgrounds. In order to do that, LeBron James and his families step up a family foundation. So far, LeBron James and his family foundation have donated to five big charities.

This program is also to honor boxing legend Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali said “A Force for Change”, it has been an encouragement quote for a lot people around the world. Now days, the museum is honoring Ali by showing two parts, one celebrating great achievements in his career and one celebrating his contributions for society.

Boys and Girls Club of America
In this program, the foundation is planning to donate $2.5 million to the Boys and Girls Clubs around the America. The club helps give all children equal opportunities and provides after school mentoring and activities. The foundation has already replaced the roof and fixed up some work spaces and donated 1000 new computers.

Children’s Defense Fund
This Fund started in 1973. The purpose of this program is to speak out for children’s rights and help all children to be treated equally and fairly. This fund is being an important role in supporting nonprofit organizations which is also focusing on protecting children world wild.
