However, other young superstars followed his path by changing their team. Lebron has proven that you must sometimes make risky decisions to achieve a greater goal. By trailblazing the way for multi-franchise superstars, Lebron James effectively changed the notion that loyalty took precedence over goals. In today’s media-centric society, players are watched not only on their respective sporting venue, but outside of it, as well. Being watched off-court is substantially a player's’ decision, and Lebron is an example of a player who embraces fans and allows the average joe a peak into his prestigious life. A quick look at his Instagram profile shows various photos captioned with motivational quotes followed by the hashtag #StriveForGreatness. He doesn’t take to social media simply to brandish his fortune. In this respect, Lebron separates himself from many of the tier-1 athletes in the world. Lebron James is a role model for all fans, but his presence is felt strongest among the younger ones. In addition to his sleek signature shoes and freak basketball skill, Lebron offers younger fans another attribute to love : a clean record.
