“Well simply put it Lebron James is the greatest high school basketball player I’ve ever seen and that is coming from a guy who has seen Kobe Bryant play basketball at the same age as Lebron.”-(Jay Bilas). When you think about the perfect specimen to play the game of basketball, you think of someone tall, strong, fast, and smart. This describes one man and one man only who has played the games of basketball, Lebron James. James has constantly be named the greatest of all time by sports analysts and spectators, which doesn't surprise me. Despite being constantly scrutinized throughout his life, Lebron showed why he is the greatest of all time by: living up to the hype, carrying franchises, his statistics, and his style of play.

Lebron not only has great regular season stats, but his playoff statistics are off the charts as well. For example, just this year, Lebron holds the record for the most points in the postseason play. He is continuing to score points each year while in the NBA. This fact shows that Lebron is constantly putting up monster statistical numbers to show that he is the greatest player to ever play the game.
Compared to other greats like Kobe Bryant and MIchael Jordan, he accounts for more win shares then both of them, which makes him the most valuable player on his team each year he has played in the NBA from 2003-2017. Furthermore, Kobe had Shaquille O’neal, who is considered one of the best Centers of all time.
