I decided to go back to school about three years after I graduated high school. At the time I thought that school wouldn’t be a big deal but I was soon easily overwhelmed and dropped out halfway through the semester. The following semester I decided to give school another shot and after speaking with my counselor she advised me to enroll in a learning community class. A learning community consists of a cohort of students taking a pair of classes together for two semesters to encourage students to create study groups and be confident in a classroom.
