Transparency is that window between a leader and their subordinates that is clear and easily perceived. Leadership must never promote an environment that is misleading or falsified to their subordinates. Transparency will produce long-standing guidelines and effect solutions to undesired characteristics within the organization.

I expect my Soldiers to be professional, proficient, physically fit, proactive, and passionate. Leaders must develop professional character and establish a good rapport with their Soldier. With Professionalism comes integrity. Integrity is a non-negotiable attribute. Breaches of integrity will not be tolerated. Honest mistakes are accepted, but not a violation of principle. Never lose sight of the fact that our most important system is the Soldier and we must ensure that they are properly trained. APFT requirements will be enforced to standard. Develop a sound counseling program. Encourage Soldiers to report any deficiencies found within the Command. Prevention of issues is the goal.
Leaders must find a way to stay motivated and instill passion within their Soldiers to carry out the mission.
