The Generation X staff in the hotel have been observed earlier, and their behaviors and characters had already been mentioned in some reports and some explained by the organizations ' manager. As seen in the previous paragraphs, the members were productive but their behaviors and work culture as well as notions required re-invention (Iden, 2016). The organization was in a situation where training and supervision were required to help them improve their old skills and behaviors by acknowledging new technology adopted by the company. As the primary supervisor, the issue needed the employment of different leadership styles at the various stages as discussed in this section.

Yukl (2013) define the type of leadership style as that which creates an emotional bond between the employees and the leaders creating an atmosphere where both of them feel like part of the organization. The earlier sections revealed that Generation X, which was the group in the training program, had a traditional notion on leadership strategies, they perceived leadership in a hierarchical, and age and gender biased approach. This meant that as a leader, it was essential to curb the stress that would be expected if different genders and employees from different levels of management. Both respondents indicated that they had been in a similar situation earlier but they were able to employ different strategies to come up with the solution. This increased the confidence of the trainer and also created an optimistic approach to the solution. Additionally, the authors cautioned that strategies used in the approach required a close attention as some could be counterproductive or rather end up increasing the problem rather than creating a
