Leadership is a class I’ve always been interested in being a part of. Growing up, I was always taught to be a leader. My parents have always told me “You don’t choose to be a leader, you slowly evolve into a leader.” It’s always stuck with me and I’ve learned that I must set goals and go through struggles in life in order to learn from them. Those small things have allowed me to transform into the person that I am today. Being in leadership would help me grow as a person and allow me to obtain new experiences in working with others who have the same mindset as me.
