A true leader provides purpose, direction, and motivation to individuals or groups and the Army’s Leadership Requirements Model defines what a leader must be, know and do. In an effort to see how leadership dynamics are portrayed in the movies, I chose to compare how the main character in “Remember the Titans” and “To Kill A Mockingbird” utilize the many aspects of the leadership model in dealing with racial strife.
