Therefore, effective business leadership management requires the knowledge of how to pull a team of employees together to do groupthink. Effective collaborative thinking can distribute the necessary information in an organization, furthermore, process the information and transform it into brilliant business decisions. In a word, collaborative thinking is the “central process room” for both modern “knowledge organization” and the “learning organization” (Ringer, 2007).
According to Ringer (2007), leaders can use the following four practical principles to build high quality collective thinking in organizations:
1. All employees in the team should have a good understanding that the team will share and focus on one common goal. Expediting this focus plays a key role in leadership management.
2. Each employee in the team should sufficiently manage his or her personal life, both emotional and psychological life, so that each employee’s communicational, relational and work skills will not be effected too much by his or her personal life. This can also ensure that the employees will think together with others in the team. Team leaders should pay special attention on their emotional balance as it could influence the employees in the same team, which could be a negative affection for leadership
