In this paper, I explore leadership communication styles and the roles of communication in resolving issues within the leadership’s team that has been assembled. Leadership listening styles and leadership theory suitable for the Brown Trout Bay Leadership group are examined. I analyzed the facet of leadership; and role of social networking and technology, communication styles appropriate for Brown Trout bay case scenario, a rural community that was impacted by the rapid flood which their city water system has been compromised, road and bridges are out. I examined the leadership characteristic, action and communication strategies of the leader that have been assembled by Brown Trout Bay Mayor’s that are charged to manage the disaster. The
