Similar to ICF and APECS, AC is a not-for-profit professional body dedicated to promoting best practice and raising the awareness of standards of coaching, worldwide. Their website also describes them as being an inclusive organization with members from over 50 countries. They are committed to setting industry standards just as the previous two organizations are. AC offers coach accreditation, supervisor accreditation, coach training accreditation and leader as coach recognition. Each level offers something unique: coaches working primarily in an organizational context, coach in all other settings, experience and accredited coaches looking to become supervisors, supervisors wanting to have a therapeutic specialist background, introductory course to be a master coach and finally, an award that recognizes short coaching skills for organizational leaders, manager and supervisors. All accreditations are valid for five years, but AC membership must be maintained.
