Boldness is a personality trait that is requisite for every leader. Success is directly tied to success of an individual in their ability to motivate and lead. Individuals that lack boldness as a trait were not as successful as those exhibiting signs of boldness when it came to leading people. The first article entitled entitled “Fearless dominance and the U.S. presidency: Implications of psychopathic personality traits for successful and unsuccessful political leadership,” written Lilienfeld et al explores the sociopathic trait of “fearless dominance” as determinant in predicting successful presidents.
