Personal Narrative: My Personal Experience As A Leading Operations Manager

The same thing happens when the employee enter acts with leader, the leader says I would rather avoid this guy also. So as a manager and a leader how this theory should be applied, the leader should nurture high quality exchanges with all employees, rather than concentrating on differences. Moreover, leaders should focus on ways to build trust and respect with all employees resulting in the entire work group becoming an in-group.
Personal Experiences At the age of fourteen, I started working as a paper boy part time, delivering papers each morning. One thing that caused me to look at them when I was job hunting was the knowledge that they promote within the company, and treat their employees fair and with respect. I have been promoted from a driver to an Operations Manager with in the TransCo family. As the lead Operations Manager I have become experienced in all of the transportation operations. Including, being able to manage driver activities, ensuring compliance with work rules, attendance, hours of service, and operational procedures of the department. I review scheduling and planed work flow of drivers to meet the daily route needs, while ensuring efficiency and superior customer service. Time management and organization around daily activities is key for an Operations Manager. I have learned to maintain positive communication and a customer service relationship with all departments and customers. Including, learning Microsoft Office and Windows 10. Furthermore, I am currently using an autocratic leadership style where I have complete control over my subordinates. All decisions are centralized in my own leadership, including not entertaining any suggestions from any teammates. I currently tell people what to do, issue orders, and demand respect. He told me I was an autocratic leader, and he was consultative style leader. When he was a freshman in high school he had taken a type of leadership style evaluation. He asked as a leader do I like to be in control, I responded what you think. We had a good laugh! He went on to say he had learned how consultative leaders learn. They are very hands on, active, and ask the options of others before making a decision. He also asked me if he should apply this style at work, I said yes, and what could it hurt. He is a teammate at as fast food restaurant. His jobs are cooking, cleaning and taking orders. When he started his training they would just have him watch the other teammates perform a task. He asked the manager if they would let him physically do the task instead of just watching. This helps him learn much smarter and faster. He is now a full time employee and has been promoted to trainer. When he trains other teammates he remembers how they trained him when he first started. He allows them to physically do the work, and asked the new employee his opinion on how they can improve
