I treat each situation and individual with the utmost respect and dignity. I have the ability to relate with all walks of life and easily build rapport with individuals, which enables me to obtain information. I’m easy to communicate with and listen to input and value others opinions.
I have worked extensively to ensure co-workers know I work with integrity, and that I am trustworthy and respectful of personal feelings. My ethical standards and ability to understand issues, leads many co-workers to confide personal and sensitive information to me. I’m able to give advice and assist others with finding pathways to resolve issues without causing drama. This skill leads to many personal relationships that build a foundation for success within our agency. Trust is built in the relationships we develop with interpersonal skills.
A recent example of my interpersonal skills is the forming of our peer support team. Not only am I a leader for this team, but also a peer.
