Throughout my time as being a supervisor, I have found I enjoy what I am doing and know there is more for me to learn in order to be a better leader. There was a time in middle school where we had an assignment, we would discuss where we saw ourselves in twenty years and devise a plan in order to reach our goal. I put down that I wanted to be a teacher and told myself that it was my dream job, until my teacher took my paper and told me to do more research on this job. I learned the harsh truth and quickly changed what I wanted to be because of what I learned from my research. I was able to recognize that what I wanted to do with my learning was my choice and my teacher was there to guide me, not control me.
