I am having one-year experience in the field of dentistry. During that time, I worked alone, and I gained lot of knowledge on how to interact with people and what are the qualities required to be a good leader. It is my self-assessment that, I am lacking most of the qualities that are essential to be a good leader. I believe, with this degree in health care administration, I can develop more administrative and leadership skills that are very much essential to be health care leader.
Developing leadership skills is important for me because I have shifted to the field of health care administration from the field of dentistry. Now I seek the future prospects of becoming a manager in an organization and therefor during my study period I need to develop skills that would allow me to be a successful in my future endeavors. The leadership quality is something that is not inborn and, this must be acquired through gaining lot of knowledge and skills during life time.
Leader is a person whom other people chose to follow and in general a leader must be guiding, influencing and motivating. A leader should not be commanding always, and commanding power should be used only in some occasions to get a quick response or to do something

I work very hard to develop my skills. My strength is my positive attitude and I always think that; the best thing is going to happen in my life. I am the one who like to take all the peoples opinion, interest, values and disinterests into account and I can treat people according to that. A leader should be a great team player and I believe team works brings faster result and more productivity. I also have a habit of visualizing the scenes prior to my actions. I get motivated both internally and externally. Understanding our personality type, we may be able to extend our strengths and enhance our weakness.
