Leadership has a major impact in our society. It can be displayed in a workplace situation, in volunteer groups, and even in family life. In the workplace leaders come in the form of those individuals who are in management roles and are part of the organization to effectively meet the company’s need. If an organization did not have some sort of leader it would be complete and utter chaos. This is the same with volunteerism and family life. Our society may have a difficult time with our day to day issues if there were no leaders. This is one reason our country has a president. The president leads our nation to protect the citizen’s interest.

Some of the tools used in presentations can be knowing your audience and who the presentation may impact. Using other tools such as selecting the right words without losing your audience with complex words they may not understand. Another tool to use when presenting and persuading your audience is by giving then a detailed description of your ideas. Change can be anywhere from processes or installing new equipment in a server environment. When a company needs to have something changed a manger normally request for that change to take place. One way a manger can accomplish this is be influencing and persuading the shareholders of the company. Most changes need to be approved by the shareholders of the specific company. Getting the attention of your audience is key to convince them to change. This can be done by using various tools such as how much facts the presentation may have.
Conclusion
Being a leader and having certain traits can allow someone to be an effective leader. An effect leader has the chance to be able to manage a group of individuals. Depending on each person’s traits, characters and styles using tools such as the 12 elements of great management can help someone build into a strong leadership role. As a leader and manger you will need to learn basic traits these traits can help guide you into a successful management
