In accordance to Professor Geert 's web page Research and VSM, the “dimensions of cultures do not exist in a tangible sense. They are constructs” (Hofestede, G., 2015). In accordance with he and his colleagues research, Hofstede (2015) infers the term Dimensions to be considered of the practical significance, as not to be mistaken for a limitless plane. The constructs of the material are both widely recognized and very attributable for the modern workforce. Exemplifications can be closely correlated to leaders. Likewise, the leaderships effectiveness can also be determined through select combinations of Hofstede 's dimensions. Although, this hypothesis of combinations retains that not every application is unanimously steadfast, the multiple variations of leadership applications are merely conjectures to principles based off others professional research. As a leader, one must be able to communicate, direct, and predict outcomes through planning, processing, and administration. Wursten 's, Lanzer 's, and Fadrhonc 's article for improving efficiency in human resource capital illustrates that, “When people in the team have different cultural backgrounds, or the manager 's background differs from the team 's, that is when serious misunderstandings can arise” (Wursten, H., Lanzer, F., & Fadrhonc T., 2015. p2 para8). Knowing the Power Distance Index (PDI) of a culture helps a leader(s) to identify the specific levels at which people can relate to their position under his or her administration. The Individualism or Collectivism (IDV) of a culture gives a leader(s) the interpretation of value at which his or her intentions are to be received. In the Masculinity or Femininity (MAS) dimensions, a leader(s) can project his of her particular levels of sternness or lenience.
