I think the point the author was trying to hammer home with his comment about leadership being “both current and timeless”; was that throughout the history of man, it has been marked with examples or teachers, heroes and rulers. Within these three types of leaders we have seen everything from kind and gentle kings to crazed power hungry tyrants bent on world domination.
