Are Leaders Born Or Made Essay

Doing my research I’ve noticed that there have been contemplations about what makes a leader. I’ve come upon articles debating based on the assumption that leaders are born while some firmly believe they are made. However, i’m convinced that leaders can be both born and made. Leadership to me work on a social influence system by building assistance and support towards a group of people on achieving a goal. To put it in simpler terms, the leader, this special individual, is the inspiration and chief of the operation at hand. Though there are still other questions we have to ask ourselves like, What else makes a leader? Is it commonly an individual who can do the job, the right way? Or, is there more to it than being adequate enough to do the job? What makes a leader more or less effective? Does this individual have an impact on the culture of the organization? Does this individual’s public persona influence the public’s perception of the organization? In my opinion, there’s frankly much to say concerning what makes a leader and if the individual has an effect on the people. Provided that, I would have to say, the individual I see as a leader is Richard J. Gilfillan.

Truth is that leaders motivate, inspire, lead and influence generations to come. Richard J. Gilfillan, MD, who may be either a particular combination of an innate or made leader, has a gift of leadership. Richard is the President and CEO of CHE Trinity Health , a $13 billion

A successful leader or an effective leader, must acquire certain traits like extroversion, conscientiousness, openness to new experiences, be emotionally stable and have general intelligence, these are often focused on questionnaire assessments of a leaders potential (Robbins & Judge, 2014). These traits are critical for an effective leader and are inherited and with time and experience it
