What is a good leader? A good leader is someone that is not power hungry and always put his/her people before anything. A good leader will fight against all odds for the wellbeing, righteousness and for peace. It is someone who will not use oppressive ways to control his people. In the novel, Lord of the Flies, ralph shows all those characteristics. He shows courage, responsibility and determination to stand up against Jack even though jack was more powerful physically than he was. There are many great leaders throughout history. One that faces the challenges that Ralph had, and shows the characterizes for a good leader is our first president, George Washington.
