A leader is someone who leads or commands a group, organization, or country. A great leader is someone who takes initiative. For example, Martin Luther King was an honorable leader during the Civil Rights Movement. In the beginning of the novel Lord of the Flies Ralph takes initiative and becomes the leader on the island. Ralph was the best choice as a leader. Being a true leader takes a lot of responsibility. To be a leader, one must demonstrate leadership. A leader will have to make decisions quickly and be confident in those decisions. Leaders should be honest and demonstrate strong communication skills.
