A leader is someone who leads or commands a group, organization, or country. A great leader is someone who takes initiative. For example, Martin Luther King was an honorable leader during the Civil Rights Movement. In the beginning of the novel Lord of the Flies Ralph takes initiative and becomes the leader on the island. Ralph was the best choice as a leader. Being a true leader takes a lot of responsibility. To be a leader, one must demonstrate leadership.
