Lazaro Cardenas for the win and Madero for the defeat
Mexico has had obtained a huge reputation of having bad presidents, the people don’t even vote for this very reason, they know that the nation will not change. However, there was a time that the people used to think differently. They used to believe in those promises, that time occurred in the revolution and ended around the 50’s. During this period, the presidents not only secured the democracy in Mexico, they also motivated the people to make the difference and they made good things for the nation. However, if we were to choose who is the president that best represents this idea, it would be Lazaro Cardenas. And, if we were to choose the least best example, it would be Francisco I Madero. Many people would disagree that Madero is not a good example of this because he did start the revolution but, did he accomplish anything while he was

That is not something that is going to be in question, he represented the ideals of the Revolution. Madero’s problem was that he did not had enough time in the office to really do something for the nation. He started his presidency in 1911 and it ended in 1913, his presidency lasted only a year (this is because he started in the end of 1911 and ended on the beginning of 1913). thus, leading to the question: what could he have done in less than a year? He was in the middle of the Revolution and his ambassador Henry Lane was already trying to take him out of the power. Madero was also unable to keep the peace within the Nation, one evidence of this is that the Revolution never ended in it’s period as president. And he also never improved the standard of living of the people, mostly because he did not stay on the power enough time. However, is worth mentioning that is was possible that he could have archived its goals as president. But, sadly, he was assassinated, and all his ideas stayed on the election

Francisco Madero’s rise: As time was going on, Porfirio Diaz still was in presidency, and people were not comfortable of the constants reelections of the same president. One day, Porfirio called for an interview to James Creelman, in which he said that the democracy in Mexico was not affected by his long term stance in the power, and that he was not consumed by power. He stated that the democracy was the only fair principle in the government, which contradicted his actions because he reelected himself for over 30 years. Another fact he said was that he was able to leave the presidency with no remorse aside from his long standing government. Diaz also claimed to one of the most controversial statesmen among Mexico’s previous twenty-eight presidents that took control over the Mexican government. Above all Diaz is generally commemorated as being one of the country's most notorious dictators. There is, however, bitter irony when talking about the lies that lay within his accomplishments where the benefits were said to be felt by the very few of well off. This of course does not dismiss the obvious truth that he did in fact bring Mexico into the modern age that allowed the country to achieve financial solvency under his regime. Diaz ruled with an iron fist and during this time is referred to as the Porfirio that is again marked by great advancement and modernization with the Mexican economy booming.…

The ideologies and goals of the Mexican and Russian revolutions were both engineered in hope that the result would strengthen the lower class, redistribute mass amounts of land, and create more equality between the rich and the poor. Although the results of both revolutions are viewed as successful, the conclusion of the Mexican revolution was drastically less radical than the Russian revolution because of Mexico’s multiple revolutionary leaders with conflicting ideas of change along with a lack of foreign pressure and the influence of Marxism in Russia. The Mexican revolution was unified in the sense that everyone was against President Díaz but each major leader had a different plan of action for the future of Mexico. Francisco Madero initiated the revolution and change…
