Layne Thomas Staley: A Brief Biography

Layne Thomas Staley was born August 22, 2967 in Kirkland Washington USA. he was born to Phil Staley and Nancy Staley, at age 7 his parents divorced and his worst nightmares came to. The divorce of his parents later in life lead to part of his issues with depression and drug dependency. Heroin and Crack were Staleys drugs of choice, when found dead in his Seattle apartment paraphernalia such as pipes and needles were around his decaying body. Layne died at the age of 34 on April 5th, 2002 same day as Kurt Cobain only 8 years later, both were legends in the Seattle grunge scene in the early 90's.
